The United Nations declared 22 April International Mother Earth Day to raise awareness of the interdependence between people, other living beings, the environment, and our planet as a whole.
As never before, there is a groundswell of human awareness that compels us to participate in restoring our magnificent world. Earth Day is a reminder to take action and become part of the healing.

This special day is an opportunity for people of all ages to celebrate the joy of reading and to create a culture of learning and literacy.
