22 April
International Mother Earth Day

The United Nations declared 22 April International Mother Earth Day to raise awareness of the interdependence between people, other living beings, the environment, and our planet as a whole.

As never before, there is a groundswell of human awareness that compels us to participate in restoring our magnificent world. Earth Day is a reminder to take action and become part of the healing. Let us be sure to include Mother Earth in all that we treasure and value.

Nature-based Education supports the UNs’ One Health concept whereby the health and well-being for all living things is inter-connected. Nature-based Education celebrates Earth Day by providing a platform to raise awareness that we all have a vital role to play.
