Message from our Founder

On 18th September 2023, the lives of children across the world changed for the better. On this day, the United Nations launched a legally-binding addition to the Rights of the Child. For the first time in history, the Rights of the Child include that they must be protected from all forms of physical and psychological violence, be it domestic violence or violence inflicted on animals.

The challenge that lies ahead now for all 196 member states of the United Nations - South Africa included - is to comply with this legally binding directive through each country’s policies, practices, laws and education.
